They say a diverse panel is needed who will better understand the issues of racism, sexism and class discrimination that the inquiry will inevitably raise. So it is delighted by the Lord Chancellor’s announcement today that the MOJ will commit funding for a programme of pre-appointment education for prospective applicants for judicial office of all kinds.
